Matthew Healy, George Daniel, Adam Hann, & Ross MacDonald.
Just 4 young men and 1 mutual desire to create music. For what seems to be centuries since being in the shoes of my second grade self, has been a few 14 years later in the time line of this bands rise through the vast expanse of fame. A globally unknown British rock band from Manchester, turns universally loved through a release of songs that couldn’t be called anything other than perfect.
And just as all bands, artists, people in general go through, A Change of Heart and the need for new and fresh has taken 75’s signature style by storm. Once strictly black & white has turned neons and especially pinks with the release of their newest album: I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it. It’s a mouthful, but a beautiful one. Thankfully, the unassuming lead man Matty still gives us wild hair flings, lip licking goodness, and those brilliant haphazard dance moves. So before we can shed a tear for loss of the old 1975, delight yourself in the first releases from their newest album set to be released on February 26th – colorful splendor and all.
