An Abrupt Piece of Wisdom from Steve Jobs

“Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. And if you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it.”

– Steve Jobs

This is highly relevant to me at this time considering how badly I want my career to just start already. I had a job for 5 months upon moving out to San Diego. It didn’t work out. Which in turn got me pumped to start fresh and a new once again. Well here I am 2 months after quitting, and still no job. But I am not here on this earth to settle. I’m also here to do more than just work. I’m here to enjoy myself. A firm belief of mine. So in the mean time, while residing on this earth, I think it may just be super important to do something you’re gonna adore to do and that will leave you at peace with yourself and your decision in the distant future. I don’t plan on leaving this big blue marble anytime soon since I’ve only spent about 22 years on it. I plan on spending my days happy, enlightened and without regret. So I thank you Steve Jobs, for a quote that I really needed right about now.
